I guess we were fortunate. I know we were fortunate. However, when you spend most of the night baling water to keep it from ruining your house, it’s hard to feel fortunate. We didn’t have any structural damage caused by hail or wind. Just a boat-load of rain.
At one point, Jayne estimated the water coming into our basement was streaming at around 10-gallons/minute. It took both of us to stay ahead of it. While I emptied, Jayne collected the next bucket. It was a long night.
